What I thought about seeing Daisy

Nick Caraway, that good old sport, made good on his promise to bring Daisy over. I was so nervous that I just about lost my cool. Everything had to be perfect. I had the lawn cut, the house adorned with flowers, and everything in place just as I saw fit for Daisy. She finally arrived, without that nasty Tom by her side. Like I stated, I lost my cool and tried to flee before she came in the door, thinking that it'd look too obvious if I'd just been standing in Nick's house. Good Nick answered the door after a knock and let me in. After some time he tried to leave Daisy and I alone, but I couldn't be left alone. I thought about what I could ask her, what I could say, what I could do. We spoke, and what was said is our matters, but I do not think it could have gone better. Nick returned and announced that the sun was out. I thought that there would be no better time than right then to show Daisy what I had amassed.
